CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
To make a booking, please email us or use our website reservation process and allow us time to reply with a quote. Once the quote is accepted, the event date will be reserved. We will proceed to send you an invoice.
To secure your requested date, we do require payment of a non-refundable deposit equating to 50% of the total invoice amount. Full payment of the remaining invoice amount is then due no less than 7 days before the date of the event. Please note that we do not hold dates and that a booking is not confirmed until the full payment of the invoice amount is received by Postcard Picnics. Please note that guest numbers must be finalised by final balance due date. No refunds will be given for reduction in group numbers.
SECURITY BOND
A $100 security bond for smaller groups and a $200 security bond for a larger group is applicable for all bookings. The bond is 100% refundable upon(1-2 days) from pack down and assessment or return of props. If there are any damages/stains on rugs, cushions, props from your picnic hire duration, you will be liable for professional cleaning costs. Any props or crockery that are damaged/missing during your hire will need to be paid for in full. These costs will be deducted from your security bond. Please note that the security bond is required to be paid in full no less than 7 days from the date of booking.
WET WEATHER
Due to the nature of our business, it is essential that the client have a back-up plan for your picnic event. We can set up in any public or private indoor location provided we are granted access and are permitted to do so. Please note that travel fees may apply if your back up location is more than 5km further away from the original planned location. If you wish to reschedule, we require at least 7 days’ notice and it is subject to availability. No refunds are offered for cancellations due to wet weather.
DISBURSEMENTS
Please note that additional travel fees may apply for all bookings located greater than 25km from Perth CBD. Please also note that additional fees will apply for all bookings setup on sand/beach locations.
CANCELLATIONS
Within 14 -7 days from picnic:
Cancellation for personal reason will result in a refund less the non-refundable deposit and other incurred costs.
Within 7 days from picnic:
If you wish to cancel your event, all fees paid will be forfeited by the Client and no refund will be provided to the Client. Please note that this is due to the fact that we have turned away other potential clients who may have requested events on your booked date.
*Bookings impacted by COVID-19 restrictions will only be subject to a refund in the event that WA Government enforced restrictions prevent the booking from taking place.
